JOB: Linguistic testers needed
To
increase our pool of linguistic testers, we are looking for native
speakers willing to work onsite at our client’s locations in Prague.
We
are looking for the following languages:
English (UK), French
(France & Canada), German (Germany),
Spanish (Latin-American), Italian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese,
Korean, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Dutch (Netherlands), Finnish,
Danish, Swedish, Norwegian.
As
a member of the QA team, you will be undertaking both localization and
functional testing on all aspects of the product in your native language
following detailed test plans.
L10n
Testing:
Responsibilities:
- Black box
testing of the specific language version of the product following existing
test cases and comparing with English original.
- Documenting
issues encountered during the test phase using the Defect Tracking tool
designated.
- Regression
testing for verification of defect resolution.
- Adhering to
quality assurance guidelines.
- Communication
with other testers to minimize multiple defect reports.
Requirements:
- Native speaker
of the language to be tested plus communicative English.
- Knowledge of
telecommunication terminology.
- Skilled working
with internet browsers.
- Comfortable
working in more than one browser at the same time.
- Able to use
multiple applications at the same time: one for reporting bugs, another
for capturing test results and the last one to test the application.
- Ability to write
steps to reproduce any problems found.
- Ability to
follow directions and instructions.
- Ability to
communicate with other testing team members.
This
includes spelling, grammar, consistency issues and also issues such as
truncations.
You
will be required to enter clear and concise reports into a tracking system, and
then reevaluate issues when corrected.
