iSP Awarded EN 15038:2006 Certification

Established by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) in 2006, EN 15038 accreditation provides both translation service providers and their clients with clear criteria for quality. To achieve this certification, iSP was audited by TÜV SÜD, an internationally recognized independent certifying organization.

In conducting the assessment, TÜV SÜD evaluated iSP on a range of factors, including linguist and personnel qualifications, technical resources, client communication procedures, and quality management. iSP's quality management system is also certified to ISO 9001:2008, a rigorous international quality assurance standard that can apply to all types of businesses.

iSP President Martijn Heertje commented, "EN 15038:2006 is without a doubt an important, if not the most important, standard in the translation industry, both within and outside Europe. This certification acknowledges the leading position of iSP and Translations.com."
